What's On Your Work Desk 138

Oh dear!! I'm a little bit late sharing my crafty desk table today. I took this photo this morning midway through my card making session but I have only just got around to blogging it this evening.

This morning I have been having a play with my new Hero Arts heart stamps and made some speedy Valentines cards. I'm loving everything kraft at the moment and couldn't resist adding some twine to my super simple cards!

Now I just have to choose my favourite to give to my valentine! I think I'm leaning towards the red spotty one!

I have been having a little tidy up of my craft area. It really does need a serious sort out and reorganisation but today I only had time for a quick tidy. I came across a few layouts that need putting away in my albums and realised I hadn't shared this one with you.

I used the S J Crafts January kit and added some alphas from my stash for my title. The papers are My Minds Eye  Kraft Fun Day and as usual, all the edges are inked with Distress ink (Brushed Corduroy). The photos are from a few years ago, taken on holiday at a Haven Holiday Park where H loved the amusement park rides.

WOYWW 135

It's the first Wednesday of 2012 and as I haven't done a WOYWW for a while I thought it would be fun take part this week and show you what's on my craft table today!

This morning was "Back to School" and thankfully H couldn't wait to get there and see all her friends, so with the school run done in super quick time I was back home to take down the Christmas Tree and pack it away to be stored in the loft for another 340 or so days. Job Done. Time for a cuppa and then it was down to some scrapbooking.

It was nice to take a break from my Christmas journal which I'm doing in a didddy 6" x 6", and scrap 12" x 12" with some of my new My Minds Eye Fundays. I love, love, love this new collection and I think the border strips and chipboard pieces will get used loads as they are just gorgeous!!

Nothing is actually stuck down at the point this photo was taken so the finished layout could end up very different. Do you stick down as you go along or are you more of a "place everything first and only start sticking once you've decided where all the elements will go" ??

JYC 3rd-5th

I hope your New Year celebrations were good! We had a lovely quiet night at home with a glass of wine watching the London fireworks on TV. I still cannot believe how fast 2011 flew by and that we are now in 2012 but I guess I'd better get used to it. lol!

I thought I would pop by and show you a few more pages from my christmas Journal. I didn't even attempt to make any pages beyond the first few days of December as I knew that as the month progressed I just would not get time to sit down and craft, but since things have calmed down now I have been able to get a few pages done. I'm keeping them very simple and at 6" x 6" finding it a very manegable size to work with!

So, here's 3rd December ~ Cards ...

For the 4th, I went off topic as I wanted to record our viist to a local museum for their Victorian Christmas and Childrens Crafts event. It's not a great photo, but as H was so busy sticking and cutting all the photos were a bit blurry!!

5th December ~ Advent ...
