~ The weekend is here Again ~

Can't believe its a week since I last blogged ~ where did that week go? Just popping by with some news....!

The Promarkers delivery arrived this week and are all out and going like hot cakes! Packs of 5 pens in six different colour sets including brights, pastel, greys, hues, skin tones and skin accents.

Some gorgeous new scrabooking embellies from ATD are also in. I can't wait to use these on a layout.

Also just heard this afternoon that the NEW My Minds Eye ranges have landed in the UK and are with the supplier and will be sent out to retailers Monday onwards. Fingers crossed my order for "Colourful Christmas" and "Ooh La la" will be with us early part of next week. Both are beatiful and I'm sure you will love them!

~ A Card And Promarkers! ~

I made this card, well 2 actually for my daughter's teacher and teaching assistant at the end of the term/school year and I just thought I would share it with you. The flower stamp is a gorgeous clear stamp from Little Claire. I stamped it twice, once on the white card and coloured it with promarkers and then cut it out with a scalloped circle nestabilitie, inked the edges and then matted onto pink bazzill card cut with scallop nestabilitie. The 2nd image was also coloured and then the petals cut out and decoupaged up with silicone glue. The background is more pink bazzill and patterned paper from K & Co. Glossy accents on the flower centre to finish off.

Due to so many of you asking if I will stock them......I have today placed an order for PROMARKERS!!! They should be here early next week. If you haven't yet tried promarkers for colouring your stamped images, I can assure you they will give your cards that Wow Factor!!

If you like the stamp I have used on the above card, then you will be pleased to know I am also hoping to stock a selection of Little Claire stamps soon. Watch this space!!

~ August Newsletter ~

The newsletter and class list for August is out now! If you normally receive it by e mail it will be winging its way into your inbox very soon, hopefully this evening. The Newsletter offically announces our change of name from Create A Card to Maisie May Crafts.

It will take us some time to update all the stationery and get the shop front signage changed (if I can ever decide on the lettering style!) so please bear with us. I'd love to hear what you think of the new name so why not leave me a comment on this blog.

~ Doodlebug has arrived ~

How gorgeous are these NEW Doodlebug papers?? I love them all ~ they are so bright and summery and look great on cards or scrapbook layouts.


Also the matching paper frills and glitter letters ( no need to worry about colour co ordinating) and the rub on letters are so useful and so easy to use. All are in the shop NOW!!

Great Day!

Today was Demonstration Day at the shop and what a day we had ~ very inspiring and lots of fun along the way! Thank you everyone who came along, I hope you enjoyed it as much as Maggie and I did. I know some of the Nestabilities, Hero Arts stamps and the corner punches sold out quickly so if you wanted something and didn't manage to get one, just let me know as I will get restocks of many of the items.

I'll try to take some photos of the cards Maggie made today on Monday and blog them for you.

I'm already planning the next Demo Day ~ so watch this space for details!

Bring on the Bling!

After so many of you have requested it, I have just got into stock at the shop some Bazzill Bling Cardstock and I have to say it really is stunning and is great for both cards and scrapbooking. I've only got in a few colours but if you like it I will get more colours in.
Also Kraft Kuts 2 from Fancy Pants is now is ~ everything from spots, stars, stripes, trees ~ and some great designs for the layouts for boys. This is a quick card I made today using the new red Bazzill Bling. It is great for Christmas cards!

And finally, Paper Flowers from Woodware, which are proving very popular!! At last a pack of flowers of different colours and sizes!!

That's about it for today ~ I am trying to make up some sample cards this week ~ so if you pop back in a few days I'll have more cards to show you.

Demo Day!

Hi Everyone!

How hot has it been these last few days??!! Hope you are managing to keep cool!

We are holding our next Free Demonstration Day on Saturday 11th July at the shop in Moordown, Bournemouth. As usual the demo will run from 10.30am- approx 2.30pm. Maggie has lots of rubber stamping and card making techinques and ideas to show you.
