Happy Valentines Day!

I was a very lucky girl this morning to receive these beautiful roses from my wonderful husband and also a box of chocs....truely spoilt!

I thought you might like to see his card. I kept it very simple, with a Forever Friends topper mounted onto red paper, matted on silver mirri card. The background is more of the red paper and My Mind's Eye paper (from the Dancing Girl collection) on a white square card blank. A piece of ribbon is knotted around the topper before I fixed it to the base. A rub on greeting and little heart gems to finish off. I'm pleased to say he liked it!

Onto a few shop bits I wanted to tell you about......

At last....we have a Winner!!

It's Saturday!!

I hope you are having a lovely Saturday, whatever you are doing. It was so lovely to see the sun out today, and it definately felt a bit warmer....really made me feel as is Spring is finally on its way.

I think the Spring like weather was my inspiration for these 2 cards, with the colours and butterflies.

I used my new Martha Stewart loopy Punch and the New Clear Stamp Cupcakes set from Woodware, coloured with promarkers & white gel pen, doodlebug paper, pink bazzill and dot ribbon & papermania gems to finish. The cake is actually made up of 3 seaprate stamps from the set. Using different combinations of the stamps you can make up lots of different cakes and ice cream sundaes.

The butterflies on this card are made with the NEW Woodware punch I mentioned on my previous post. Aren't they gorgeous? I attached them just down the centre and added gems so the wings are raised up slightly. My Minds Eye Little Sprout paper (punched with Woodware inverted corner punch) and bazzill card (which I punched with the MS Loopy punch) for the background, ric rac ribbon to finish.

Punches

I treated myself to a new Martha Stewart Loopy Punch today and I'm already loving it. I made a card using it today but left it at the shop so haven't got a pic of it to show you!


A few other Martha Stewarts came in on a delivery today, only a limited number of each design bearing in mind I have to keep stock at minimum levels ready for the move. I'd have one of each if I could...!!


And whilst we are on punches, introducing .......

.........the new Butterfly punch from Woodware! This is gorgeous, cuts and embosses at the same time. I have been having a play with it today so should have a sample card using it to show you tomorrow. So glad its Friday today, what ever you have planned I hope you have a good

Finished another!

Just a quick post tonight as hubby is cooking tea and it's almost ready!

I only managed about 30 minutes scrapping last night but it was enough to get another layout finished!

This is a photo of Hannah at about 14 months old and journalling is about the way she would look up with her big blue eyes and ask "Push Me?"

Oh, yum tea is ready!

Happy February!
1st Blog Post for February, although I'm really not sure how January went by so quick, at least a new month makes me think Spring and the warmer weather must surely be here soon.

I have been really busy working on the website this week and uploading pictures of stock to the on line shop, it is a long job but I'm making good progress. Having worked on it most of yesterday I really needed a break by the evening and so I did some more of this...

Sorry, if you were expecting a card or scrapbook layout!! I have recently starting knitting again...having not knitted anything since my late teens...I have had to almost start again...I had forgotten how to knit.

Wondering what it is going to be????

Legwarmers!!! Hannah is cold when she is at her weekly dance class so when I came across a pattern for making them I got started!

Papercrafting will always be my first love but it is nice to have a change every now and then. What other crafts do you do?

This afternoon I had a sort through of all the unfinished layouts I have laying about my craft area, some are in clear bags with the paper and photos and some are half done and need titles and embellishments, some I started so long ago I had forgotten about them. In total I have 11!!

Me thinks I need to set myself the challenge to finish them before I start anymore new ones!

Just in case you have popped by hoping to see some layouts, here's a couple I made a while ago which I don't think I ever got around to uploading to the blog.
